On average, SYDE students spend 4.9 hours studying and 6.1 hours sleeping. Shoutout to the 5 students who dedicate 9-10 hours per day to studying, y'all are the true embodiment of the "rise and grind" mentality!
Data was collected on students' stress levels during their 1A term and their first co-op term. The stress levels were rated on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 indicated little to no stress and 5 indicated high stress.
In general, students experienced higher levels of stress during the 1A term compared to co-op, as indicated by the average stress level of 3.8 during 1A versus 2.4 during co-op.
Overall, exercise frequency was higher during the co-op term compared to the 1A term.
More students exercised every day or a few times a week during co-op, and fewer students reported that they never exercised. This suggests that students may have more time and/or motivation to exercise during the co-op term.
Over 90% of the cohort chose to live away from home for university. The most popular on-campus residence was CMH, with UWP as the second most popular.
Data was collected on how easily students felt they could make friends in our cohort during 1A, using a score of 1 (extremely difficult) to 5 (very easy). It turns out that the majority of students rated it a 4 or 5!
On average, students living away from home visited their homes 1.4 times per month.
Looks like many of us strive for 90s even outside of school! In all seriousness, the average rice purity score is 67.8.
There is no correlation between one's rice purity score and their academic performance (in case you were curious lol).
